Hipertensi merupakan diamana tekanan darah mengalami suatu peningkatan pada seseorang dengan tekanan darah sitolik lebih dari 140 mmHg dan tekanan drah diastolik lebih dari 90 mmHg. Hipertensi merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang di hadapi di Indonesia. Penyebab dari hipertensi ini secara pasti belum dapat diketahui, tetapi gaya hidup berpengaruh besar terhadap kasus ini, terdapat beberapa faktor yang menjadi risiko terjadinya hipertensi, seperti usia, jenis kelamin, merokok, dan gaya hidup kurang aktivitas yang dapat mengarah ke obesitas. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh high intensity interval training terhadap penurunan tekanan darah. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur review yang menggunakan design study integrative review. Hasil: Artikel terakhir yang digunakan dalam literature review ini sebanyak 20 artikel yang memenuhi kreteria inklusi. Secara keseluruhan peneliti menemukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara penurunan tekanan darah, dan denyut nadi. Kesimpulan: Hipertensi merupakan suatu kondisi peningkatan tekanan darah seseorang yang mengalami diatas normal. Dari hasil review artikel dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh high intensity interval training terhadap penurunan tekanan darah.
