Publication Ethic

Global Health Administrative and Management (GHAM) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and follows internationally recognized ethical guidelines, including the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to:

  • Submit original work that has not been published elsewhere or simultaneously submitted to another journal.
  • Ensure that all listed authors have made substantial scholarly contributions.
  • Properly acknowledge the work of others through accurate citation.
  • Present research findings honestly without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.
  • Obtain appropriate ethical approval for studies involving human participants or animals.
  • Obtain informed consent where applicable.
  • Disclose all financial support and potential conflicts of interest.
  • Promptly notify the editor if significant errors are identified after publication.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

  • Making publication decisions solely based on scientific merit, originality, relevance, and methodological quality.
  • Maintaining confidentiality throughout the editorial process.
  • Managing conflicts of interest appropriately.
  • Ensuring a fair, unbiased, and timely peer-review process.
  • Taking appropriate action when ethical concerns arise.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Peer reviewers should:

  • Conduct reviews objectively, constructively, and confidentially.
  • Evaluate manuscripts based solely on scientific quality.
  • Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.
  • Inform editors of any conflicts of interest.
  • Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe.

Research Integrity

GHAM does not tolerate:

  • Plagiarism
  • Self-plagiarism
  • Duplicate publication
  • Salami publication
  • Data fabrication
  • Data falsification
  • Image manipulation
  • Citation manipulation
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest
  • Authorship misconduct

All submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review.

Corrections and Retractions

When significant errors or ethical violations are identified, GHAM will publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions in accordance with COPE guidelines to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
