Pemberian edukasi tindakan operasi untuk menurunkan kecemasan pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea
The effect of surgical procedures education in reducing pre-operative anxiety of cesarean section patients

Kecemasan pasien pre operasi sectio caesaera yang tidak ditangani dapat menjadi penyulit terhadap pelaksanaan operasi. Edukasi menggunakan video mampu memberikan efek penurunan kecemasan lebih baik daripada menggunakan media verbal atau cetak. Studi menunjukkan bahwa observasi terhadap 5 pasien, seluruhnya memiliki kecemasan yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh edukasi tindakan operasi melalui video dalam menurunkan kecemasan pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea di salah satu rumah sakit swasta di Kota Semarang. Studi pre-eksperimental ini menggunakan desain pre-posttest without control group. Sebanyak 30 pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Video edukasi tindakan operasi telah melalui tahapan penilaian sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam penelitian ini, sementara kecemasan pasien diukur menggunakan The Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale (APAIS). Analisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test yang didasarkan pada distribusi data yang normal. Hasil menunjukkan adanya penurunan rerata kecemasan pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea setelah pemberian edukasi. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan edukasi tindakan operasi melalui video terhadap kecemasan pada pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea. Edukasi tindakan operasi terbukti dapat menurunkan kecemasan pada pasien pre operasi sectio caesarea. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengontrol variabel riwayat kehamilan dan persalinan, riwayat operasi, dan indikasi persalinan.
