Hernia Nukleus Pulposus (HNP) merupakan penyebab utama nyeri punggung kronis pada lansia yang memengaruhi mobilitas dan kualitas hidup. Pendekatan farmakologis sering digunakan, tetapi berisiko menimbulkan efek samping, sehingga diperlukan alternatif nonfarmakologis seperti terapi Su Jok. Laporan kasus ini mengevaluasi efektivitas Su Jok dalam menurunkan nyeri dan meningkatkan mobilitas pada pasien lansia dengan HNP. Seorang pasien perempuan usia 59 tahun dengan keluhan nyeri punggung bawah menjalar hingga kedua kaki, skala nyeri 7–8, Intervensi dilakukan melalui pemijatan area tangan (Su) pada punggung tangan (yang) di titik korespondensi punggung lumbal 1–5 serta ruas jari manis dan tengah yang berkaitan dengan area kaki, dilanjutkan dengan penempelan biji chia seed selama ±30 menit. Pasien diedukasi melakukan terapi mandiri di rumah 1–2 kali per minggu. Setelah intervensi, skala nyeri menurun menjadi 5, disertai peningkatan kemampuan berjalan dan kenyamanan. Pasien menunjukkan respon emosional positif berupa motivasi dan kepercayaan diri untuk melakukan terapi mandiri serta tidak ditemukan efek samping. Terapi Su Jok terbukti aman dan berhasil meredakan nyeri dan dapat diterapkan sebagai intervensi komplementer nonfarmakologis untuk menurunkan nyeri punggung kronis pada lansia dengan HNP. Edukasi terapi mandiri memperkuat keberlanjutan hasil positif, diharapkan akan meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien.
