Efektivitas therapeutic patient education berbasis augmented reality terhadap self-efficacy pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2: Studi kuasi-eksperimental
The effectiveness of augmented reality-based therapeutic patient education on the self-efficacy of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients: A quasi-experimental study

Latar Belakang: Kepatuhan pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 dalam pengelolaan penyakit sering kurang optimal akibat keterbatasan pengetahuan, kepercayaan diri, dan konsistensi perilaku. Therapeutic patient education berbasis augmented reality dikembangkan sebagai media edukasi interaktif untuk meningkatkan kemandirian pasien dalam pengelolaan diabetes. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas therapeutic patient education berbasis augmented reality terhadap efikasi diri pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan pendekatan pretest–posttest kelompok kontrol. Sampel berjumlah 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dibagi menjadi kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Diabetes Management Self-Efficacy Scale. Analisis perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada masing-masing kelompok menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, sedangkan perbedaan antara kelompok pada pengukuran setelah intervensi dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann–Whitney. Hasil: Terdapat peningkatan efikasi diri yang signifikan pada kelompok intervensi setelah pemberian therapeutic patient education berbasis augmented reality, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak ditemukan perubahan yang signifikan. Hasil uji Mann–Whitney menunjukkan bahwa skor efikasi diri kelompok intervensi pada pengukuran pascaintervensi secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Simpulan: Therapeutic patient education berbasis augmented reality lebih efektif dibandingkan edukasi standar dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 dan berpotensi diintegrasikan sebagai media edukasi dalam pelayanan kesehatan.
