Komunikasi terapeutik yang efektif dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan memungkinkan pasien dan keluarga memperoleh informasi yang jelas, merasa didengarkan, dihargai, serta dilibatkan dalam proses perawatan sehingga membangun kepercayaan terhadap perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan kepercayaan pasien dan keluarga terhadap perawat di RSUD Kota X. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah pasien dan keluarganya yang menjalani perawatan di ruang rawat inap RSUD Kota X. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner komunikasi terapeutik dan kuesioner TINS untuk mengukur kepercayaan pasien dan keluarga terhadap perawat. Kedua instrumen telah memenuhi uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat untuk menggambarkan karakteristik variabel dan secara bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi terapeutik perawat berada pada kategori terapeutik, sedangkan kepercayaan pasien dan keluarga terhadap perawat berada pada kategori tinggi. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan kepercayaan pasien dan keluarga terhadap perawat. Peningkatan kompetensi komunikasi terapeutik melalui pelatihan dan supervisi berkelanjutan perlu dilakukan untuk memperkuat kepercayaan pasien serta meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan.
