AbstrakWorld Health Organization (WHO) atau Badan Kesehatan Dunia mempelopori dan meluncurkan Checklist Keselamatan Bedah (Surgical Safety Checklist) dengan tujuan menciptakan kerangka kerja standar bagi anggota tim (perawat, anestesi, dan operator) untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pasien dalam proses pembedahan. Tujuan literature review adalah untuk menentukan apakah ada bukti kuat yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan checklist keselamatan bedah meningkatkan keselamatan pasien dan kepatuhan tim. Sumber literature reviuw terpublikasi dari tahun 2014 sampai 2019, teks berbahasa inggris dan diperoleh dari Pubmed, Ebscho, Proquest. Checklist Keselamatan Bedah WHO berimplikasi terhadap penurunan angka kematian, dapat mengurangi komplikasi pasca bedah, membangun performa tim dengan komunikasi, user friendly dalam penggunaan checklist bagi anggota tim, meningkatkan keselamatan pasien dan trend penerimaan check list yang positif dari anggota tim memberikan dampak peningkatan kepatuhan terhadap standar serta peraturan di ruang bedah.
