STUDI KASUS: PERAWATAN PALIATIF KARSINOMA PAYUDARA STADIUM LANJUT MELALUI PENDEKATAN MODEL ADAPTASI ROY
Case Study: Palliative Treatment of Advanced Stage Of Breast Carcinoma Through The Roy Adaptation Model Approach

Pendahuluan: Pasien kanker payudara dengan stadium lanjut yang telah menjalani pengobatan kanker sebelumnya memerlukan dukungan perawatan paliatif dalam upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan kesehatannya. Studi kasus perawatan paliatif pada pasien Ny. N menggunakan Proses keperawatan dengan pendekatan teori Model Adaptasi Roy. Diperoleh masalah utama defisit nutrisi dan defisit pengetahuan tentang manajemen paliatif. Tujuan: Membantu pasien dan keluarga mengenali permasalahan kesehatan yang dihadapi dan membantu menggunakan koping positif untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan perubahan kondisi kesehatannya. Metode: Intervensi keperawatan berupa manajemen nutrisi dengan mempertahankan asupan nutrisi dengan pemberian diet cair 6x250 cc/hari dan ekstra putih telur 2-3 butir/hari melalui selang Naso Gastric Tube (NGT) dan edukasi kesehatan tentang perawatan paliatif diberikan berkolaborasi dengan DPJP, dokter spesialis penyakit dalam subspesialis hematologi-onkologi medis. Implementasi dilakukan perawat selama 6 hari perawatan dengan penilaian evaluasi setiap harinya. Hasil: status nutrisi pasien membaik dengan mempertahankan asupan nutrisi melalui pemberian makanan dan minuman per NGT serta pengetahuan pasien dan keluarga terkait perawatan paliatif meningkat. Simpulan: asuhan keperawatan dengan menggunakan teori Model Adaptasi Roy dapat diaplikasikan pada kondisi pasien kanker stadium lanjut dengan perawatan paliatif sehingga masalah keperawatan pasien dapat teratasi dengan baik.
